The following are some answers to common questions regarding Quantum Biofeedback and the SCIO THERAPY.
What does the SCIO actually do?
The SCIO scans the client’s body like a virus-scan on a computer, looking for everything from viruses, deficiencies, weaknesses, allergies, abnormalities and food sensitivities. It reports on the biological reactivity and resonance in your body and indicates needs, dysfunctions and vulnerabilities. The information provided by the SCIO is fundamentally different from X-rays, blood tests, etc.., as it tells us about the energetic state of one’s body and the direction in which the body is focusing its energy.
How is the SCIO set up?
The SCIO is connected to the client via a headband and wrist and ankle straps. It sends electromagnetic signals to the body. The SCIO scanning AND therapy process is painless and non-invasive. Clients of the SCIO rave about how they feel comfortable being tested and having a lack of fear towards seeing their health professional.
And after the client is scanned?
Once the SCIO has measured vitamin levels, amino acids, nutrients, food substances, minerals, enzymes, natural sugars, toxins, hormone levels, muscle tone, disease, bacteria moulds, fungi, viruses and the health and balance of internal organs, it then compares these figures against a “norm”.
How does that help?
The SCIO basically outlines anything that is affecting the health and wellness of the client. For example, if someone has digestive trouble, the SCIO may show that they had salmonella as a child, which is still causing them problems. Reactions to various types of foods, chemicals, and other substances are revealed and can be further investigated by interviewing the client and by visiting other programs and screens within the SCIO program to locate patterns and more clues.
So you just use the SCIO to identify problem areas?
Actually, it’s more than just a diagnostic tool. There are so many programs on the SCIO, which after measuring the body’s frequencies, also feeds back its own frequencies to redress or neutralize destructive wave patterns. In some cases it may add frequency, in others reverse it to either enhance or counteract the body’s own resonances The SCIO doesn’t just show up the negative aspects of the body but also the positive aspects. However, in attempting to improve and revitalize health, we tend to focus more on the negative aspects, so that they can be redressed.
How does the SCIO try to revitalize the body?
As the SCIO has been devised using the principles of Quantum Physics, that question is easier asked than answered. Basically, during treatment, the SCIO measures the body’s resonance/reactance pattern and determines what benefit has occurred in the time period since the last measurement (less than a second earlier). If there has not been an improvement, the input resonance is altered. It maintains each beneficial setting as long as it is helping and changes it as soon as it is no longer useful.
Can you use the SCIO on children?
The SCIO is ideally suited to children, as they are often unable to verbally communicate what they are suffering from. Children suffering from behavioural problems have seen considerable improvements, as the SCIO unearthed contributing factors, such as food intolerance.
What follow-up is necessary?
It is important to understand that energetic imbalances are identified in order of the body’s priorities. It is very similar to peeling an onion. Each session will work with the outermost layer. While it is possible that acute imbalances will be corrected in one session, it is more likely that a series of sessions will be beneficial. The recommended distance in time between sessions will depend on the nature of the imbalances.
In order to get the most out of your SCIO sessions, you will need to accept responsibility for your health and implement any suggested life-style changes.
Are there any common side effects associated with this therapy?
The most common response after a session is to feel energized, balanced and more focused. Most clients report no ill effects. It is not uncommon for pain or other symptoms to be partially or completely alleviated after a session. Clients who are suffering from excessive toxicity may experience some transitory feelings of discomfort as their bodies release toxins from the tissues for elimination. At Finding Health, we make every effort to balance organs, mineralize the client and discuss the implications prior to any detoxification. We encourage the client to drink plenty of water as this assists elimination and usually reduces any discomfort. Highly sensitive individuals may experience fatigue or headache after a session. The SCIO is a self-limiting device and will indicate when a client has had enough of any one therapy.
Can the SCIO cure disease?
Neither Finding Health, nor the developers of the SCIO device make any claims regarding cures for disease. We note only that the body has an innate ability to heal itself when given the correct conditions. The SCIO is approved for stress reduction, pain reduction and relaxation. As such, it has a role to play in eliminating the obstacles to good health. It does this by detecting and targeting very specific stressors, in the body and it’s electrical field.
What is a session like? Will I feel anything during the therapy?
During a session the client simply sits in a recliner. Most individuals find the experience VERY relaxing. The sessions take from an hour and a half to two hours. Sometimes people nap briefly. During a session concerns of the client, and stressors detected by the SCIO are discussed. Since the SCIO operates by sending frequency at biological speeds (up to of 1/1000 of a second) most clients feel no sensation whatsoever. Those sensitive to frequency may experience a slight tickle or tingling sensation periodically under the head harness or limb straps or sometimes in an area of an old injury.
How quickly can I expect results for my condition?
This expectation depends entirely on the client’s condition, lifestyle, willingness to take responsibility for their health and receptiveness to frequency. The SCIO is wonderful in it’s ability to support people in making lifestyle changes when necessary whether in relation to addictions, diet or exercise. We suggest that the client should allow four sessions to properly assess if the therapy is being effective for them.
How many sessions will be required to rectify my condition or maintain my health?
Again, this will depend on many variables, including the client’s lifestyle factors and degree of wellness at the outset. Some clients need a few sessions over a period of four or five weeks with a follow up session every four to six weeks. Others with more acute or chronic conditions, or athletes undergoing training, will need more intensive and protracted therapy.
How frequently can I have a session?
The body requires 72 to 100 hours to fully integrate the frequencies it receives in a regular session and repeating a test scan within this period is not recommended for that reason. The shortest interval between sessions is usually one week. In emergency or critical situations, therapy can continue as needed without the main test scan.
What safety features are in place to protect the client from harm?
Quantum biofeedback is a very safe and non-invasive therapy with few safety concerns. The SCIO is a self-monitoring and self-adjusting device, taking its cues from the body’s electrical signals as therapy proceeds. Alarms are activated when the client has had enough of any one therapy, alerting the practitioner to switch to a different therapy or stop for the day.
Is the SCIO device based on any research?
The scientific theories behind this device are contained in the 1250 pages of the PROMORPHEUS, written in 1982. The SCIO device has had over 300 research articles written on it, many published in peer reviewed medical journals. The device has been taught in some medical schools since 1995, therefore the history behind this exciting technology is substantial and no longer merely experimental. The accuracy and reliability of the SCIO bio-resonance system is based on decades of research conducted in the field of bio-energetic and bio-response medicine. Science has shown us that the body is indeed electric; therefore electrical reactivity in the body can be measured via responses to impedance, amperage, voltage, capacitance, inductance and frequencies. The device measures sixteen standard electrical parameters of the body beyond just simple resistance. This makes the SCIO unique. Most standard point and probe devices (Voll Meters, etc.) only measure resistance. Trivector resonant frequencies (a mathematical calculation of the relationship between voltage, amperage and resistance) of substances are compared to the trivector resonant frequencies of your client. This results in the SCIO being the best energetic medicine analysis possible.
What happens during testing?
During testing, the SCIO device resonates with thousands of tissues, organs, nutrients, toxins and allergens for one hundredth of a second each, and records the degree to which the body reacts. This type of rapid testing is known as the Xrroid process. The results of testing are then listed and colour coded to indicate where the higher ‘abnormal’ reactions have occurred at one, two or three standard deviations from the norm. Each individual test reaction score is a hint or possibility of significance. Where there is a recurring theme in the significant test scores then the possibility becomes probability. There are also risk assessment programmes which aid the practitioner in collating the information and assessing the risk factors. An ‘individual reaction’ facility allows for a longer one-second individual test which can denote whether a significant item is transitory or a long-term issue.
Who has invented the SCIO device?
The SCIO is the invention of Professor Dr. Nelson and was first used in 1985. This was registered with the FDA of America in 1989. It has been used on millions of patients around the world for over a decade.
Are there any testimonials to back-up the SCIO?
The process has been clinically tested with results being published in medical journals and articles being presented in several world-wide medical conferences. The users of the systems have sent in thousands of testimonials and reports of dramatic success come in daily.
Has this been used in South Africa before ?
This safe, non-invasive device has been used in South Africa for the past 10 years with great success and is registered with the Health Professions Council as a Stress Reduction Device.
